Dermatology fly transpacific

There was huge representation from the North East dermatology research team at the inaugural International Societies For Investigative Dermatology Meeting in Tokyo, Japan, this Spring. Dr Amaani Hussain was selected for a plenary talk discussing ”Recurrent neural networks to predict biologic treatment outcomes in psoriasis”, which she presented after a ground shaking 5.2 magnitude earthquake, no less! Dr Ioana Cosgarea and Dr Katie Best from the Lovat Group presented their poster “AMBRA1 and Claudin5 in endothelial cells as potential biomarkers of metastases in early-stage melanoma,” Dr Henry Grantham and Dr Ashley Rider from the Reynold Group presented their poster “Dysregulation of circadian clocks in psoriasis” and the Rajan Group presented their poster “Truncated pathogenic CYLD variants cause differential cellular events.” The meeting abstract supplement can be viewed online here: https://bit.ly/3nDAGoi
