Newcastle Dermatology Trainees Triumph at European Inflammoncology Contest
A special congratulations goes to our clinical academic trainees in Dermatology, Dr.William Fostier and Dr.Mark Eisner who won the European Inflammoncology contest in Naples ! William presented a case of rare skin cancer, and Mark shared a case of skin inflammation. In both cases, genetic research informed targeted therapies. The cases highlighted the importance of collaboration and shared expertise in tackling complex medical challenges. Their presentations were key to our success and showcased the cutting-edge work happening within dermatology at Newcastle University and The Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
