Skin research makes the cover of nature

Dr Hudaa Gopee, dermatology trainee in Newcastle, first author on the Nature paper was awarded her PhD in 2025 without any corrections!  Professor Muzz Haniffa, final author on the Nature paper was recently appointed head of Cellular Genetics at the Sanger https://www.sangerinstitute.blog/2025/05/20/i-never-planned-my-career-to-be-where-i-am-now-muzz-haniffa-on-riding-pillion-seizing-opportunities-and-her-vision-for-the-cellular-genomics-programme/ but will continue to maintain her links with Newcastle.
